Grant Planning and Writing
Develop a grant proposal that connects student and family needs with program goals, activities, partnerships, staffing, and expected outcomes. Support may include application planning, proposal development, document review, and submission preparation.
Program Design and Operations
Build a program structure that supports academic enrichment, youth development, family engagement, and community partnerships. Assistance may address schedules, staffing plans, partner responsibilities, service delivery, and operating procedures.
Data Management and Reporting
Establish processes for collecting, organizing, reviewing, and reporting program information. Support may include attendance systems, performance measures, documentation procedures, reporting calendars, and staff responsibilities.
Financial and Reimbursement Support
Strengthen the systems used to track expenditures, prepare reimbursement documentation, and meet funding requirements. Assistance may include budget monitoring, expense documentation, reimbursement processes, and coordination between program and financial staff.
Program Evaluation
Review how well the program meets its goals and serves students and families. Evaluation support may include performance measures, data review, progress monitoring, improvement planning, and preparation for required reports.

21st CCLC support is available for nonprofits, schools, faith-based organizations, community organizations, program directors, grant teams, and leaders planning or operating an afterschool program.
