Media Visibility

Ready to Be Seen and Understood?

You may have expertise, a story, a book, a business, a ministry, or work you want more people to know about. Being seen is only the start. People also need to understand who you are, what you do, and why your work matters to them. DQ Consulting, LLC helps people and organizations shape their message, get ready for media moments, and choose where to show up.

Who This Service Supports

This service is for authors, experts, business owners, speakers, educators, professionals, community leaders, churches, nonprofits, and other organizations. You may be getting ready for your first interview. You might hope to be considered for a leadership role, share a new book or service, or help more people find your work. Your church may stream its worship services and want that message to reach more people during the week. Maybe you started posting on social media, launched a podcast, or hosted a show, then set it aside for a while. You may also be building your name while working full time. We help you pick it back up and plan steps that fit the time you have. Every step starts with your message, the people you want to reach, and the result you want.

Dr. TAS Tip: Before you launch, decide how often your show will air, such as every week or every other week, and keep to that schedule. Then record five episodes before the first one goes live. New listeners will have more than one episode to try, and you will stay on schedule when life gets busy.
Want to be a guest on other shows instead? Visibility Strategy helps you find the right shows and write your pitch, and Interview Preparation gets you ready for the conversation.

Your business, ministry, or nonprofit has something worth sharing, and you want people to see it all week long. We write posts and captions that fit each platform, and we help you turn what you already have, like a streamed worship service or a long video, into short clips people will watch.
Dr. TAS Tip: Pick one day each week to plan your posts for the next seven days, and schedule them with a free tool like Meta Business Suite for Facebook and Instagram.
Posting on a steady schedule helps people know when to look for you. One full talk can become a week of short clips, and the Dr. TAS Keynotes and Conversations playlist shows full talks next to the clips made from each one.

How DQ Consulting Can Help

Professional Positioning

Want to be considered for a leadership role, a speaking stage, or a bigger opportunity? Before people choose you, they need to know what you stand for and why you are the right fit. Think of how a candidate gets ready to run for office, or how a movie builds interest before it opens. We help you decide what you want to be known for. Then we build the base that helps the right people see you as the right choice. Many clients start with a single Professional Positioning Session. If you already know what you want to be known for and need more people to know it, Visibility Strategy covers that.

Message Development

We help you turn your experience, work, or story into clear words. People will understand them, remember them, and act on them. You can use them in interviews, on stage, on social media, and anywhere else you show up. If you are an author who wants short points about your book, Talking Points under Author Support covers that.

Professional Bio Writing
Get a bio that clearly says who you are, what you do, and why your work matters to the people you want to reach. We write it in more than one length. That way you have the right one for speaker introductions, media kits, websites, book covers, and social media. If you are an author putting together materials for your book, Author Materials under Author Support covers that, and your bio can be part of it.

Professional Photo Shoots
If you run a business, speak at events, or lead a group in your town, people will look you up before they call. Your photo is often the first thing they see, so it helps when that photo looks like you today. We plan your photo shoot with you, from what to wear and where to go to the shots you need for your website and social media. You can use your own photographer, or we can secure one for you. Either way, we work with the photographer and direct the shoot so you can relax and be yourself on the day of the shoot. This works for your very first headshot or for new photos of your whole team. Once your photos are ready, Professional Bio Writing can give you the words to go with them. If you are an author getting things ready for your book, Author Materials under Author Support covers that, and your photos can be part of it.

Media Coaching

We help you sound like yourself every time you speak, whether you are on camera, on stage, or on the air. Coaching can cover how you connect with your audience, how you come across on camera, and how to answer hard questions. It can also cover details like pace, eye contact, and posture that help your message come through clearly. Coaching is also available for churches, nonprofits, and organizations, including leaders who speak for their cause and pastors whose worship services stream online. If you have a specific interview coming up, Interview Preparation focuses on that one opportunity.

Interview Preparation

Get ready for podcasts, TV, radio, live videos, panels, and recorded talks. We can look over the opportunity, plan for questions, write talking points, and practice your answers with you. We also help you tie the interview to your bigger goals. If you are an author getting ready to talk about your book, Author Support covers that.

Visibility Strategy

Already clear on who you are and what you offer, but not enough people know about it? We start with where you are now and build a plan to grow your reach. You will know where to show up, why it matters, and how to reach the people you want. We can also help you find podcasts, shows, and publications that fit your message and write a pitch to send to their hosts and editors. This works for organizations too, such as a church doing excellent work that wants more of the community to know about it and to welcome new members. Thinking about hosting your own workshop or event? We help you decide where to start and how to build from there. If you are still deciding what you want to be known for, start with Professional Positioning.

Podcast Support
Want to start a podcast, or grow the one you have? We help you plan your show, decide who it is for, find the right guests, and get ready to host in a way that feels natural to you. If your show is already running, we help you reach more listeners and build your audience. Want to appear on other shows? Visibility Strategy helps you find the right shows and prepare your pitch, and Interview Preparation helps you get ready for the conversation.

Social Media Content
Need help posting on social media? We write posts and captions that fit each platform, like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Each one has its own rules for length, pictures, and style. This is for business owners, professionals, churches, nonprofits, and anyone who wants help sharing their work. We can also help you turn content you already have into posts, such as turning a streamed worship service into short clips that share your church's message all week. Prefer to learn how to do it yourself? We can walk you through it. If you are an author promoting a book, Author Support covers that.

Why Work With Dr. TAS

When you prepare with Dr. TAS, you learn from someone who has spent years on both sides of the microphone. She hosts Talk With TAS on iHeartRadio, Conversations Radio Network, and WYAD 94.1 FM, and she serves as Executive Editor of Conversations Magazine. She knows what hosts and editors look for, what makes a guest easy to book, and what helps people remember what they heard. You get someone who sits in the host's chair and knows how to help you shine in the guest's chair. Want to see and hear what a strong guest conversation sounds like? Listen to Talk With TAS on iHeartRadio or watch it on YouTube.
